Brendon, Your build on FreeBSD 6.0 required that you modify the $CONFIGDIR/Makeinc.freebsd to define: XMLDEP = -lpthread At that point, you should be able to link nmap2 (which uses the XML libarary). This will look identical to the Makeinc.linux config file use of XMLDEP. Our freebsd test platforms here are 4.10, so you are just encountering some issues where the library environment has evolved beyond what I have been able to test here.
