Jennie,
I believe that your regex for the second is the problem since you are using *
instead of .*.
Try a simpler:
CONDUIT <tab> MT.gfs.*onedeg
<tab> PIPE <tab> decoders/dcgrib2 -d data/gempak/logs/dcgrib2_CONDUITgfs.log
<tab> <tab> -e GEMTBL=/home/gempak/GEMPAK5.9.1/gempak/tables
(the 2 tabs on the 3rd line are for readability only, 1 tab would suffice).
This presumes you have a ~ldm/decoders directory and have linked or copied
the GEMPAK decoders from $GEMEXE into that directory or course.
