You should download the compressed source tar file again and not proceed if gzip continues to give you errors. We have noticed that downloading distribution files from our web site using Mozilla and its variants and Netscape under Linux can be problematical. I found, however, that the Konqueror web browser distributed with RedHat (and Fedora Core) distributions of Linux does not have these same problems, so you may want to try a different web browser. Also, can I ask why you are not using a binary distribution of GEMPAK instead of building from source? >Many thanks No worries. >Rich >-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- >Richard Neale >address@hidden >NOAA-CIRES Climate Diagnostics Center >325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305-3328 >Tel (303) 497-6236 Fax (303) 497-6449 >-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Cheers, Tom Yoksas -- NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
