Pete, I can add the flag to ignore clear air mode. Some other ideas are to use the ruc grids to mask the radar grid based on boundary layer relative humidity, precip type etc. I'm always reluctant to throw away "data", and many sites in clear air mode do have data....especially in the winter. But, if I can give tools and let the user throw away their own data then thats more power for the end product. Glad to hear that the program is useful. I really haven't gotten much feedback (except from NWS sites that don't store their radar data in the hierarch used by the GUIs which makes things a little more involded to configure).
