20000926: GARP/NSAT color enhancement bug?

Chris, 
I ahven't seen this behavior here. It could happen if you had a script
setting the colortable for another product displaying to the X server.
It could also be triggered in adding a new frame to the loop in auto update.
I'll have to explore.
