Art, Is Garp the only program that fails to run with this message, or do all programs fail? Here I compiles on: IRIX64 flip 6.5 01200532 IP30 uname -R --> 6.5 6.5.7m We deffinitely are a couple of OS releases ahead of you. I compiled with the -o32 compiler flag to use the old 32 bit libraries so that the code even runs on old 5.3 IRIX indigos. Steve Chiswell Unidata User SUpport >From: "Arthur A.
