Hi Harry,The NWS has promised to provide a 6-month notice of termination. When the Difax service is terminated (which will happen), it will include the Web site too. Apparently, NCEP is the only NWS group still using Difax so they are being encouraged to make the transition, due to budgets, etc. The Users Committee has been grappling with this issue for a LONG time. One solution is that the Univ of WI is producing Difax-type charts using GEMPAK scripts. They are willing to make those available to anybody wanting them, via the IDD.
