The Radar Operation Center (ROC) will be moving the National Level II (NL2) servers at the Silver Spring Metro Center 2 (SSMC2) location in Silver Spring, MD to the NOAA Enterprise Data Center (EDC) in Ashburn, VA. This will affect the data flow of the Level II Network TDS (public) path.
- Start Time: 9:00 AM (CDT) Tuesday, Oct 11th, 2022
- Duration: 4 Hours
- Event: NL2 Server Relocation
The activity will take about 4 hours to complete and will impact data flow of the "Silver Spring/TDS Level II Path" during the entire window.
The data path via the Norman/RDS NL2 server is not part of this activity. (No service interruption via RDS path is anticipated.)
Please keep BOTH NL2 connections, Silver Spring (soon to be Ashburn) & Norman, up to avoid data flow interruption.
