Hi Carol,

I seem to recall that the distribution of the Volcanic Ash product in
NOAAPort was discontinued. The last of these products that we received
was at 14:23:39 UTC on September 22.
The NOAA PDA should have this product if it is still being created.

The SSEC Data Center was and probably still is grabbing all of the
GOES-R L2 products from the PDA, so they might have the image(s)
you are looking for.
Just so you know:
We have been told that some fraction of the GOES-16 L2 products that
have been distributed in NOAAPort may be removed from NOAAPort. The
explanation was that:
- NOAAPort is out of bandwidth, and all products are being reviewed
to see what can be removed from the SBN to free up bandwidth
This includes, but is not limited to the GOES-16 L2 products. It
may also come to pass that not all GOES-16/17 bands will be sent
in NOAAPort, and the FullDisk scans might be limited to the
Northern Hemisphere portion of the scans.
- the GOES-R/S L2 products were never intended to be distributed in
NOAAPort
They were added to the SBN to showcase them and promote their
use.
The bandwidth situation in NOAAPort is critical, so it is likely that
lots of products will be removed to free up bandwidth for products that
can't be sent currently.
Sorry we couldn't be of more help...
Cheers,
Tom
