Radar Operation Center (ROC) will be performing Software Upgrades which will affect the data flow of the Level II Network TDS (Public) path. The activity is a software upgrade on the Silver Spring NL2 servers which support National Level II (NL2).
· Start Time: 9:30 AM (Central time) Tuesday July 21st, 2020
· Duration: 1 Hour
· Event: NL2 Build 10 Software Upgrade
The activity will take about 1 hour to complete and will affect Data flow of the "Norman/RDS Level II Path" for up to 10 minutes somewhere during that window.
The Data Path via Norman ROC NL2 servers is not part of this activity. (No service interruption via RDS path is anticipated.)
Please keep BOTH NL2 connections (Silver Spring & Norman) up to avoid data flow interruption.
National Level II (NL2) on weather.gov is available.
- NEXRAD View - WSR-88D monitoring by site location
- NPN View - Shows FSL2 data from the NOAA Profiler Network
- SPG View - TDWR Monitoring by site location
- SERVER View - NL2 server & Network status (Shows site connectivity AND Silver Spring vs Norman Data flow)
- CONTROL View - Shows data latency for each NL2 server
- LDM View - Level II Data flow from site (TDS or RDS)
