NEXRAD Level II Maintenance Notification - Tuesday March 19th, 2019 (BOTH)

One Radar Operations Center (ROC) will be performing a two planned maintenance activities to the  Level II System (BOTH sides).  The activity is complete server hardware and software upgrade to the National Level II (NL2) system.

(1) ROC Cluster - (Norman, OK) - ROC will be performing planned maintenance activities to upgrade all 4 ROC servers.   

 Start Time: 9:00 AM (Central time) Tuesday March 19th, 2019
 Duration: 2 Hours
 Event: HW/SW server upgrades
 
 The activity is anticipated to take about 2 hours to complete and will effect data flow of the "ROC Level II Path" up to 20 minutes during device reboots and testing. (At least twice)  (RDS Path ONLY)  Silver Spring path will remain up during this event.

(2) Silver Spring Cluster (Silver Spring, MD) 

 Start Time: 11:00 AM (Central time) Thursday March 21st, 2019
   Duration: 2 Hours
 Event: HW/SW server upgrades
 

The activity is anticipated to take about 2 hours to complete and will effect data flow of the "Silver Spring Level II Path" up to 20 minutes during device reboots and testing.  (TDS Path ONLY)
