Hi Ana Carolina,
I apologize for taking so long to get back to your question!

No worries. I am sorry I couldn't return to your question before now...

I just reread the README file that you sent for the GPCP Satellite-Derived (IR)
GPI Daily Rainfall Estimates. My interpretation of the data that is being
provided is that it is estimates of daily precipitation accumulation, not mean,
in mm/day. Given that the data is estimated from IR satellite data, I think
you can safely assume that it is from 0 UTC - 23:59:59 UTC. It would not make
_any_ sense to do the estimates on any other 24 hour time period.
I tried to find an authoritative source for this data, but I was not able to
find the correct person.
Again, I apologize for taking so long to get back to you!
