Jennifer Adams of COLA is working on the GrADS-DODS server pilot project
on behalf of Doty,Kinter, et al. Here is what she says in a message to me
about the data:
"...so I went
ahead and made a directory (/data/gds/) and the uploaded
some files from the mass storage system ... about 125 Gb
worth. I could easily fill up much more than that, but the
data set that is there now is a good one for 'demonstration
of capability' and we'll see how much use it gets from COLA
users as they find out it's available. In case you need to
know, I put a collection of 50-year monthly mean atmospheric
GCM runs -- 10 ensemble members with 76 variables each. If
you'd like to check it out, the URL for the server is:
http://motherlode.ucar.edu:9090/
I hope this was not an unreasonable thing to do; if you'd
like the data to go someplace else, just let me know."
If it would be better to move this data to the new disk, I'm sure it
could be arranged.
