Hi Paul, re: > It appears I am no longer receiving a CONDUIT feed from > (idd.cise-nsf.gov), idd.cise-nsf.gov was decommissioned on Friday, September 28, 2012. > did I miss a change notice that I needed to change > my configuration. Unfortunately, yes. Here is the notification we sent out to email lists that pertain to services available on idd.cise-nsf.gov that would be impacted by the decommissioning: From address@hidden Wed Sep 26 15:11:02 2012 To: address@hidden, address@hidden, address@hidden, address@hidden, address@hidden, address@hidden cc: Unidata User Support <address@hidden> Subject: 20120926: Unidata services no longer available from NSF cise-nsf.gov machines Reply-to: Unidata User Support <address@hidden> Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2012 15:11:01 -0600 From: Unidata User Support <address@hidden> Users of Unidata services on NSF-hosted machines: We just learned that Unidata machines long housed at the NSF will be decommissioned this Friday, September 28. Sites that use services from the following machines need to take appropriate corrective actions as soon as possible. Unidata machine at NSF Area-specific Unidata support email addresses ---------------------------+--------------------------------------------- adde.cise-nsf.gov address@hidden atm.cise-nsf.gov address@hidden idd.cise-nsf.gov address@hidden ingest.cise-nsf.gov address@hidden thredds.cise-nsf.gov address@hidden On behalf of the community, we would like to thank the NSF for kindly hosting Unidata machines that have delivered so much atmospheric science data to the community for almost a quarter of a century! Please send any/all questions/comments to the area-specific email address(es) listed above. Best Regards, Unidata User Support NB: if you are not subscribed to one of the email lists mentioned above, please subscribe as soon as you are able. We send email notifications like the one above to lists we maintain to alert users to impending changes. re: > Using notifyme, I noticed the following and did not > see the CONDUIT feed in the list. > ({EXP|NXRDSRC|NEXRAD2|NEXRAD3|NPORT|NIMAGE|GEM|FNMOC|GPS|FAA604|DIFAX|NMC|FSL5|FSL4|FSL3|FSL2|UNIDATA|SPARE|0x80000000, > ".*"}) If your 'notifyme' was directed at idd.cise-nsf.gov, it is purely luck that you got any reply at all. We turned all of our machines hosted at NSF off on September 28, 2012. We have noted, however, that one or more of these machines could have been turned on for a short period if/when there was a power recycle in the NSF machine room (our machines were all configured to boot on return of power and the LDM was configured to automatically start upon boot). re: > Any assistance that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. You should be able to REQUEST the feed(s) you need from several machines in the Unidata community: idd.meteo.psu.edu - Penn State idd.tamu.edu - Texas A&M idd.unidata.ucar.edu - Unidata Program Center/UCAR Please try the Penn State and/or Texas A&M relays (both are clusters), and let us know the results.
