Brent and Paula, On short term inspection, I think the decrease in queue size on tgsv32 has made the desired improvement- at least enough to monitor before removing the .5 degree data. I watched the 18Z GFS data today with peak delay around 21 minutes: File tgftp tgsv32 fh.0057_tl.press_gr.onedeg 21:54Z 22:04Z fh.0066_tl.press_gr.onedeg 21:58Z 22:19Z fh.0114_tl.press_gr.onedeg 22:25Z 22:40Z There were actually periods where tgsv32 was idling just waiting for the next gribinsert for 20-90 seconds at times. I'm assuming there is a corresponding decrease in queued jobs on your end. Thanks greatly!
