Hello, Thanks for reaching out to us. We were ready to put out a beta release about a month ago, but got word from the National Weather Service that we have to wait for them to install 23.4.1 at an operational site first before we make our release. At this time we are patiently waiting the "okay" from them and unfortunately there isn't much more we can do except wait. We're hoping to be able to release before June 30...fingers crossed. Sorry for the inconvenience. > Hello Unidata AWIPS team, > > I’m reaching out because I am wondering if there are any updates to the AWIPS > v23.4.1 release schedule beyond the blog post from April 3rd > (https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/blogs/news/entry/awips-tips-upcoming-centos7-end). > With the CentOS 7 EOL coming soon, I moved some of the test AWIPS machines > that I manage to Rocky Linux 8, and it would be helpful to (roughly) know > when I’ll be able to install AWIPS on them again. > > Thank you. > Thanks, Tiffany Meyer AWIPS Lead Software Engineer NSF Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: XRL-607456 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with NSF Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
