What kind of network are you running on? Is this a home network, at work, some
public network?
It sounds like whatever network you're on, or firewall you have installed on
the machine is
blocking the communication with EDEX.
Is the machine a laptop? Are you able to connect it to a different network,
and try connecting
to EDEX again?
