Hello, We now have access to the NWS Vlab's National Database Maintenance repository: https://vlab.noaa.gov/redmine/projects/awips-ndm/repository/show/trunk As of the beginning of December we have merged everything from the NWS repo into the Unidata distribution. We've also re-enabled the functionality to drop the updated files in /awips2/edex/data/ndm and EDEX will pick them up and update the databases on the fly without restarting.
