Hey Pete, You're almost there. The pqaction in the pqact file does not open up the file to look at it's header. It only applies its regular expression to the product ID (which is passed in on the insert statement using the '-p' flag). So if you want to leave your pqaction the same, then you need to change the ID that is passed in on your insert statement. Using the full ID should work: "PYAA98 KWNO 221200". The distribution file (which is found in: /awips2/edex/data/utility/common_static/base/distribution/) will open the file and compare its regex against the file header. Hope that helps. --Shay Carter AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: RXM-953481 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
