Hi, The link was what you use to connect CAVE, not in a browser. It looks like you have that working since you have radar and WarnGen loaded. The reason you are not able to create text, is your CAVE is not localized to the correct County Warning Area (CWA). Notice the top of your CAVE says "CAVE D2D - HFO". That is Hawaii's County Warning Area, but you are loading khgx radar data which is in Houston, TX (County Warning Area HGX) and trying to use WarnGen in Houston's CWA. In the WarnGen window it says "Area selected has no overlap with current area of responsibility. Try switching your CWA to HGX and then load khgx radar and use WarnGen. You can do this by: CAVE-->Preferences-->Localization Select "HGX" as the site and click "Apply" and restart CAVE. These instructions are also on our webpage: http://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/warngen/#select-site-localization Thanks, Tiffany Meyer AWIPS Lead Software Engineer UCAR-Unidata Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: CXA-665676 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
