Okay, here is the problem in the edex-ingest log: INFO 2015-01-16 20:18:40,658 [archiveScheduledWork-1] AMQConnection: Unable to connect to broker at tcp://edex.meteo.psu.edu:5672?connectdelay='5000'&connecttimeout='5000'&heartbeat='0'&retries='9999' org.apache.qpid.transport.TransportException: Error connecting to broker Here is the workaround: su ldm -c "ldmadmin stop" edex stop ... wait and check that all services stop within ~10 seconds with the "edex" command... rm -rf /awips2/qpid/messageStore/edex/ edex start su ldm -c "ldmadmin start" I've asked about this problem before on the Raytheon mailing list but not received a solution. Right now I'm upgrading the Unidata release to build 14.4.1 so I'll see if the problem still exists in that version and what to do about it if it does. -Michael Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: QGU-820428 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open
