> Can AWIPS II work with proxy? > Because AWIPS II is being developed for operational use by the NWS, the visualization software CAVE includes a "thin client mode" to connect to a remote EDEX server through a proxy server. The Thin Client uses an Apache httpd server to perform data compression and direct responses from EDEX services to a single port. For more information on this proxy server, see Chapter 26 "Thin Client" in the Raytheon AWIPS II System Manager's Manual http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/awips2/doc/System_Manual_13.4.1.pdf Michael James Unidata Program Center Boulder, CO Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: XUE-888978 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: High Status: Open
